Blue Sky Helicopters is the longest established & only locally owned Helicopter Company based at Sydney International Airport. The gateway to the free spirited continent of Australia.

The owner of Blue Sky Helicopters is Chief Pilot/MD, Mark Fitzsimmons. Mark, started his "flying" career as an aerial photographer in the United Kingdom, before emigrating to Australia in 1991.

It was here that he saw the opportunity to take up the "other seat" and become a helicopter pilot, combining two passions, aviation and photography.

In 1996, Blue Sky Helicopters Pty Ltd was established at Bankstown Airport, situated in Sydney's south-west, initially Blue Sky specialised in aerial photography and film work.

In mid 1997, the company moved operations to Sydney International Airport (to be nearer to the City) and to develop the charter side of the business. Sydney's CBD is less than five minutes flight time and the coast is just two minutes away.

Other key personnel include casual line pilots, Col Greenwood & John Broom. Kali Doublet is the company's passenger coordinator and office manager, Karen Miranda assists Mark with the day to day management of the business.
